OUR STORY
Our architecture studio was founded in 2017, with offices in both Carolina Beach, NC and New Orleans, LA, primarily to assist other businesses in need of professional design services. As with many new businesses, we have found a number of other opportunities which fit well with our skills and interests, and have since worked to expand our core offerings to include these project types.

Our goals are to provide architectural services to other firms, assisting in coordination of disparate project elements, and reducing re-design and potential liability through accessibility design, Construction Document, and building envelope review. Ultimately we want our clients to secure repeat clients themselves through successfully completing the construction process, meeting, and hopefully exceeding, client goals and expectations.

We also offer architectural design services for residential, commercial, and Civic projects, for both individuals and public entities, in conjunction with engineering and other disciplines as needed. We begin each project with the question “This project will be a success if….” And then proceed to envision with our client how we can accomplish those goals.

We provide permit procurement assistance, quality control review, building envelope consulting, and Construction Document coordination in both Revit and Autocad, as well as on-site Construction Administration services.
TRACY USNER LUCAS
Owner / Senior Architect
Tracy has over 18 years of experience in project programming, design and production of Construction Documents, consultant coordination, existing conditions documentation, material research, quality control and Construction Administration. Experience includes obtaining construction permits and coordination with State Fire Marshal and local municipalities.  Tracy works with developers, contractors and property managers to develop projects to meet long term ownership expectations and minimize future maintenance costs.  She coordinates with local project representatives and out of state teams on a regular basis to bring focus and single-point responsibility to project execution.
CHRISTOPHER LUCAS
Owner / Senior Architect
Chris Lucas is a licensed Architect in both North Carolina and Louisiana. Â Chris has been licensed since 2003 and has worked in all aspects of design projects, with a strong focus on Construction Administration. Chris has worked on projects ranging from residential renovations to Town Halls and Police Headquarters through multi-million dollar convention centers, higher education facilities, and a 1,500 seat theater to name a few. He brings both practical construction experience and design acumen to projects of all types and sizes.
